&lt;p&gt;The DVD is as good as any class I&amp;#8217;ve ever taken. I felt thoroughly worked out and will definitely be continuing.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Notes:&lt;br/&gt;
*i don&amp;#8217;t have hand weights but will&lt;br/&gt;
be getting some shortly. &lt;br/&gt;
*i plan to stay at level 1 for a week, maybe a week and a half if I get hand weights and it adds a challenge.&lt;br/&gt;
*Living in an old building makes the cardio part a bit difficult. I can only imagine what the downstairs neighbors are thinking while I am doing jumping jacks at 8am.&lt;br/&gt;
*I need a better sports bra.&lt;br/&gt;
*Keeping my hair straight/blown out is going to be difficult. 2:30: Ranch flavored rice crisps (70 calories per serving of 10 as part of my 3 snacks per day.)&lt;br/&gt;
5:00 chicken wings and tostones (platanos or green bananas&amp;#8230;starchy. Dinner is going to be the toughest part. going to need to buy lettuce to incorporate salad into my meals where my family will not&amp;#8230;but I did have a normal portion size and&lt;br/&gt;
no seconds&amp;#8230;)&lt;br/&gt;
7:30 peanut butter crunch slimfast snake&lt;br/&gt;
9:30 rice crisps (10)&lt;br/&gt;
Now&amp;#8230;.it&amp;#8217;s 11:23 and I really want to snack but I am going to try and avoid it as I am going to bed in a half hour.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I should also say that I have alot of tea&amp;#8230;I have large containers of brewed tea which I drink sugarless and cold throughout the day, as well as alot of water.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Tomorrow my family is off to an amusement park for memorial day vaykay. going to plan ahead and bring some healthier snacks! &lt;/p&gt;

Mostly, I&amp;#8217;m just tired of being/feeling tired and heavy and not myself. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have gained a good amount of weight in the last two years on top of the weight I already had to lose. I don&amp;#8217;t have access to a scale (which may be for the best), so I&amp;#8217;m relying on my body to tell me what&amp;#8217;s up.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Slimfast is my plan of choice for a few reasons:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1) I have had prior success on slimfast.&lt;br/&gt;
2) I am not a planner and tend to eat whatever is at hand/easiest/cheapest.&lt;br/&gt;
3) The shakes are ready to go and require little to no prep on my part.&lt;br/&gt;
4)It&amp;#8217;s on sale this week!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I started yesterday and plan to use this as a food journal/sound board/ place to bitch. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;5/23:&lt;br/&gt;
Noon: Slimfast Milk Chocolate Shake&lt;br/&gt;
2:30: Slimfast peanut butter crunch bar (not so much out of hunger but because I really wanted to try it&amp;#8230;I really need to get some willpower)&lt;br/&gt;
5:15: Dinner Shrimp Fettucine&lt;br/&gt;
Alfredo (small portion)&lt;br/&gt;
7:00 Banana&lt;br/&gt;
9:00 STARVATION headache (I have been eating a lot as of late so the reduced calories really messed with me right away.)&lt;br/&gt;
10:00 Two Saltines (trying to stop the headache, boredom, sitting in a kitchen full of snacks.)&lt;br/&gt;
12:30  A spoonful of nutella (I was really proud at having reduced my calories and followed my diet so well but my headache was killing me and I made the mistake of watching the Food Network. Also, I live with family and don&amp;#8217;t have control over what foods get purchased or how the fridge is stocked. We all have a notorious sweet tooth and basically have every type of delicious snack you can think of&amp;#8230;&amp;#8230;sigh)&lt;/p&gt;
